Let's celebrate !
Our August 8 th meeting will be held at Mountain Air at Mountain Air’s
Heritage Ridge park (see map below) beginning with gathering at 5:30 pm.
What to bring? Please bring a dish to share (main dish, salad or dessert) and the
beverage of your choice. Disposable dinnerware will be provided.
Directions
From Burnsville take 19 E 3.2 miles from stop light at CVS towards Asheville to Phipps Creek Road. You will pass Blossman's Gas Co. on the right and a BP Station on the left. Just after the BP station you will come to a stop light at Phipps Creek Road. On the right is ALTEC and on the left is a sign to Mountain Air. Turn left on to Phipps Creek. Continue to the Mountain Air entrance on your left (1.2 miles).
If coming from the west on 19E drive to Phipps Creek road at thee stop light with ALTEC on the left. Turn right on Phipps Creek and drive 1.2 miles to Mountain Air.
There is parking area on the right hand sight at the Mountain Air garden. If you are meeting others to share a ride to the park you may leave cars parked at the garden lot then turn left to continue to the gate. Let them know you are with the Quilt Guild. From the gate continue on Mountain Air Drive to Heritage Ridge Road. Turn left on Heritage Ridge until you see the park on your left. There will be condos on the right side. There is some parking near the park.
